Before & After Designs
My Approach
I began this redesign by looking into competitor sites as well as other regional Godiva sites for inspiration.
Once a vision for the new luxury site was more established, I was able to create mock-ups for review by my team and partnered development agency Bluebolt Solutions.
The feedback I received from our team and developers at Bluebolt Solutions allowed me to further refine my mock-ups which eventually were ready for hand-off.
Research
When beginning my research, there were 3 questions I wanted to answer:
1. What makes a website "luxurious?"
2. How can we improve the mobile experience for Godiva's customers?
3. How do we ensure accessibility for all users?
Wireframing
Using a style guide I created, I was able to get into figma and begin designing screens for the main pages of our site, which include our Home Page, Product Display Page(s), Cart Page, Recipes, and Content Page(s).
